After going to see Harry Potter, which by the way was very good, I came across a new cart. I am fond of food carts, especially when they involve things that will cool me off in 100 degree weather. I spotted the wallpaper for the cart were cupcakes and knew I had to try one. So as I got closer I realized the cart sold both cupcakes and shakes! My favorite things. So this clever man has baked cupcakes, simple flavors here no crumbs cooky flavors, and decided to sell you milkshakes, frappes, or fruit smoothies to wash it down with. I picked the frappe that stood out the most, the cookie dough frappe. This version was offered in three flavors; peanut butter, chocolate chip, or fudge cookie dough. He offered the drinks in three sizes as well: $4 med, $5 large, and $6 xl. I opted for the medium. Im not a fan of cookie dough ice cream but the description is what reeled me in: chunks of actual cookie dough was to be in the mix. Sounds good right? Well this had to be the best frappe I have ever tasted (sorry Starbucks). It was mixed thoroughly, although it didnt have any chunks of the dough in it. It was rich without being overly sweet, tasted exactly like cookie dough and chocolate chip cookies, and was topped off by whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. I was sad that it took me less than 50 steps to drink it all and sad that it was finished. Amazing taste for reasonable price. I didnt get a cupcake to accompany my drink but I surely will next time.
10 out of 10 (happy feet happy tummy less sweat on my forehead)
Pros: Mixed well without being soupy, whipped cream, sweet and not overly sweet, Relief from the heat
Cons: It was finished too quickly, my waist line, diet dreams down the drain
